Gold Panner Restaurant, Carmacks

Sarah is from Berlin Germany and is on a working vacation in the Yukon,
serving up the local fare to locals and visitors to Carmacks..

On the way back to Dawson City, Hector and I stopped in Carmacks for lunch at the Gold Panner Restaurant. It is one of our favorite places. Great Rustic Decor with lots of great framed photos of Yukon scenery.

I had a good chat with our waitress, who it turns out is from Berlin on a working vacation. Sarah came out in Octover of 2012, and has been working as a waitress at the Gold Panner Restaurant since then. Sarah is a competitor in Traditional German Folk Dancing, and with 7 other dancers won in Carnival Dancing at the Berlin-Brandenburgin Competition in Berlin.

The Gold Panner has classic Western fair such as Burgers, Fish and Chips, Steak Sandwhiches, Clubhouses Beef Dip, Lasagna... great home cooking flavour. Can't recommend this place enough.

my guess is they are a 5 foot spread
