| Alpine Bakery in Whitehorse |
For somebody who was recently moved from Vancouver Island, is truly delightful to go into The Alpine Bakery in Whitehorse and find fantastic rustic style loaves of bread and some great buys on health food essentials. They don't have a big selection but they do have some the main staples of a healthy lifestyle there and at some of the best prices I found in Whitehorse.

The staff is very friendly, the two employees I asked had no problem posing for a picture. Actually this is something I have found in all the Yukon... people are very friendly and open to cooperating when you tell them you are doing a website or blog. Oh I'm also going to mention that Alpine bakery has some pretty nice gluten-free loaves of bread, something that is hard to find even in much bigger cities.

The bakery has 2 types of gluten free breads, a Rice loaf and a Buckwheat loaf. The Rice Loaf was excellent, much better than any other gluten free bread I have tried.
