We were driving back to Dawson City from Whitehorse, and the extreme cold temperatures had created ice fog the night before leading to some very dramatic hoar frost. We were coming up to the Fox Lake Burn when the sun came out and an icy blue sky. It was so beautiful I had to stop and take some pictures.

| Hoar Frost at Fox Lake Burn near Whitehorse
As we got close to Dawson, it was strill a brilliant clear sky but we could see an ice fog forming by the way the moon was glowing.

I took a flash picture of the Van, and the ice crystals forming in the air caught the flash... it was a clear night with no snow or wind. In my post the next day I have a good set of ice fog photos after it was fully formed.
